Coigach Crafts is the name given to a range of products created exclusively in the Coigach area, for sale in Coigach.  These crafts are hand made by people who live in Coigach, either as their main source of income, or as a hobby.  The Polbain Crafts and Coffee Shop exclusively holds stock of a range of gifts aimed at children on holiday, as the prices do not exceed £5 (pocket money). 

The ‘My Treasures From Coigach’ wooden box with swivel lid is designed to hold all those interesting keepsakes, such as shells, wee stones, little pieces of drift wood and feathers, found while on holiday in Coigach – beachcombing, walking or exploring.

Gifts for children to take home to remind them of their holiday in Coigach, or to give as presents on their return home, include boxed ‘Polbain Peat’ which is a hand made wooden package containing a piece of genuine peat from the hills above Polbain; and ‘Hill Heather Twigs’, a similarly hand made wooden package containing a lovely little bundle of ribbon-bound twigs of heather from the hills around Dornie and Polbain.

‘Knitted hearts’ stuffed with fluff and sporting a loop so they can be hanged up come in a range of shades of red; and knitted ‘Hairy Highland Haggis’ have adjustable leg lengths to suit which gradient of hill they happen to be running around, and make humourous gifts to have as keepsakes, or give as gifts.
